  What's with the Ethan fetish?

  The 2014 one was a mix, the teen who was pursuing a music career but eventually came around. 2012 was the wise Jerusalem elder who foreshadowed the GB, and 2016 was the father with reeeely bad luck at this year's RC. I guess we'll see the next one in 2018, unless there's a new pet name by then.

  JWs on Jeopardy! . . . really this time.

  i know there was a crazy false urban legend years ago about jeopardy saying the nwt was the most accurate bible, but on tonights episode they really were mentioned.

  the clue went something like 'this religion was started by charles taze russell and publishes the watchtower'.

  a player buzzed in a she said 'who are the jehovah's witnesses'.

  two years ago i had a kundalini experience.

  i felt energy or chi pulsate through each of my chakras, from the base of the spine to the crown of the head, then back, after that i felt like a newborn for three days.

  i felt like i was reborn spiritually and god gave me a new name - indi.

  I would like to think that this will be the beginning of the end for the beard ban. However, this may only be an opportunity to further cement it. For instance, when this article is covered at the watchtower study, the conductor may make a comment when considering this paragraph: 'Of course, we know that here locally, beards are not acceptable for brothers in appointed positions', etc.

  Well, these are better quality then some of the other BJF (Become Jehovah's Friend) dolls I've seen online. Still, they need action figures. Fully poseable, collectable action figures with accessories like an airplane, a butterfly pen, a Sparlock figure and a recycling bin. Maybe even figures that talk with the push of a button with such popular phrases as "That makes Jehovah sad", etc.

  Besides Beards . . .

  beards have been talked about a lot, especially with the recent wt article, but what about other types of non-mustache facial hair, like goatees chinbeards and soul patches?.

  in my own experience i've seen a white young man with big handlebars and a soul patch run mikes, do literature and give talks not too long ago.

  i saw a black older man with a sizeable soul patch as the focus of one shot in a jw.org video about an annual meeting a few years ago.

  whether it's videos on jw broadcasting or pdfs on jw.org, all downloads used to be archived in-house at "assets.jw.org/" followed by the items name/code.

  now clicking a download link retrieves the items from akamai.net, a web services company..

  Nah, no more than you share guilt by eating at a restaurant that once catered a church gathering. It's irrelevant because it's just paying for a service. Question is: why? It costs money, so why is it worth it?
